The Church is said to be haunted by the devil himself. The famous inscription on the alter of the Church: “The Devil has got into that beast” was originally believed by players to be a cheat code. However, upon entering the code, it registers as invalid. This has led many to believe the inscription is connected to the rumors of ghost sightings within the church. However, after thorough research, I have discovered that Rockstar intended for ”The Devil Has Got Into That Beast” to be a cheat code, but it was never properly implemented into the game. It would’ve had something to do with your horse going nuts. Legend has it that if you throw fire bottles at the alter, satan himself will appear. Players have also spotted faces in the windows and heard demonic growling outside. It is also believed if you stay in the church long enough, you can trigger the appearance of satan.
I have discovered that the graves outside the church can be marked manually in Deadeye. I’m not sure if this is significant to this case.
