This mansion’s haunting is hinted at in multiple newspapers across story mode, and there are many more rumors surrounding the old rickety building. It is said that if you shoot out all of the lights, the ghost of an old woman will appear in the armchair upstairs. And if you shoot the skulls upon entering, there will be footsteps and ghosts roaming about. Players have also reported sightings of footprints on the stairs, birds and rabbits randomly spawning inside the mansion, and a strange green aura.  The mansion is said to host a whole slew of ghostly encounters, ranging from footsteps, random footprints on the staircases, random animals spawning, flashy green lights, to an actual ghost lady that sits in the armchair at around 4am in game.

There are many things players can do to ”spawn” these ghostly apparition. It is rumored that shooting the skulls off the mantle upon entering the mansion can trigger the armchair ghost, as well as shooting out every light in the mansion until you’re left in complete darkness.

I’ve noticed that the same symbol that appears on the woodwork within the mansion also appears on the alter of the church. could this just be a coincidence, or further evidence that they are both haunted, that they have more work put into them than the rest of the buildings in Tumbleweed??
